Upward is a national organization that has been hosting leagues and camps for the last 20 years. Upward equips coaches and players in the sport of basketball and using sports to connect and impact communities.
Upward partners with local churches, like City on a Hill Church Brighton, to equip coaches, referees, and other volunteers to train players in the sport of basketball and the important life lessons that can be learned through sports, such as teamwork, perseverance, commitment, goal setting, and much more, in accordance with our church’s beliefs. Upward Brighton’s coaches and volunteers will show players how these values can be incorporated in real-life game and practice time.
